Salinity is one of the main challenges in agriculture, especially arid and semi-arid regions. Salicylic acid application may be a strategy to mitigate harmful effects salt stress on plant growth. Basil (Ocimum basilicum ) medicinal, spice, ornamental grown around world that has its growth reduced by stress. Therefore, objective was evaluate salicylic mitigating damage caused ‘Cinnamon’ basil. Growth evaluated at 90 days after start irrigation with saline water. attenuates number leaves, inflorescences, leaf dry mass, inflorescence root seed area, area ratio, specific mass Dickson quality index, sclerophilia robustness quotient shoot ratio.
